orsomething.org
Thanks to the wonders of my site tracker referral page, I found this site, and I'm pretty darn happy about it. First of all, it's a lot more interesting than other group weblogs I've come across. There's also lesli's presence, which is an attraction in itself, and lastly, there's the fact that I was linked three times on one page. Ok kids, if you want to get on my good side, I'll take that kind-of publicity over a bouquet of flowers any day. It's only fair that I reciprocate: Orsomething, orsomething, orsomething!
Lejania (A Parting of the Ways)
I just saw this movie in my Cuban film class and it was FABULOUS. While I doubt that it's available at your local Blockbuster, if you can borrow it from a local university library or something you definitely should.
Through a Femme's Eyes
Check out this friend of mine who has re-visited the web world.
netgrrl.net
Hey Kat, are you reading this? You signed my guestbook (thanks:) and I tried to return the favor, but I couldn't get past your splash page because of some kind-of javascript snafu. Anyway, you didn't leave an email, so I thought I'd let you know here to check it out.
Charmé
Very pretty :) I love the image.
Random
And here's the site of one of the brilliant creators of Flashy. I loved this just as much. Extremely colorful and entertaining.
Flashy
Finally a clique I can get behind. The whole point of it is an excuse to display a cute little flashy banner. And really, isn't that the whole point of any "elite" internet clique?
A & E Store
I love the A & E store, I really really do, but their customer service SUCKS at the moment. There is something wrong with their "email your wish list" feature and I can't get in touch with anyone to tell them to fix it. I need to email my list to Grannie, dangnabbit!
searchcactus.com
Wow, I really owe Lesley one for this link. You get money for signing up, and for using the search engine. I've already made $2.06. Woo hoo! I'm working my way up to the price of a latte ;-)
Artcyclopedia
Oooh, they have part 2 of "Notorious Portraits" up. The first article was really interesting (you can read that on the site too).
Vote for Gore
I just came back from campaigning for Gore, so I might as well campaign here. Vote for Gore!!!!
fetching.org
I love it when cool people sign my guestbook.
The Secret Heart
I've always adored this site, but it hadn't been updated in so long that I stopped visiting. Well, Anna is now back with a vengeance. She is an incredibly talented artist, and well worth a visit.
Yahoo! Geocities
This is one of my rare "do not visit this site" warnings. I used to be hosted at geocities back in the good old days. Sure, there were banners, but at least you got your own banner advertised. It was nothing compared to the Yahoo! Geocities scene. Ugh. Is it just me, or is Yahoo buying everything in site? Geocities was my first homepage ever, and I really needed the help and resources provided by their exemplary Community Leaders program. It was a warm and friendly environment, very good for kids (I was in the now defunct "Enchanted Forest"). It hurts me to think that kid webdesigners are now totally on their own. So, if your looking for that kind of spirit, I suggest you visit cottagegroup.com. The owner and her kids are geocitie refugees I remember fondly from my Enchanted Forest days, and their site is a great one.
Dancing in the Flames
Here's a site that'll get you into the holiday spirit. Love that black and orange!
fanciful.net
Hooray! Fanciful is back :) Go visit Vanessa, and tell her I sent you.
Forgive, Forget
Ahh, scrumptious :) I just gobble up anything by Sammy. Yes indeed. Well, I'll be visiting this daily.
Rock the Vote
American viewer, are YOU voting on November 7? I certainly hope so. We need to nip this voter apathy in the bud. I'm sick of being associated with the group of "politically disinterested young people." I'm not disinterested! I take my civic duty very seriously.
Victoria's Secret
Here's where I was yesterday. I also went to Macy's, which was having a fabulous lingerie sale. You know, it's an interesting thing, lingerie shopping. I think that's the only time I can recall not wanting to fit into a smaller size.
David Suchet Interview
Awesome interview with the incomparable David Suchet. Mostly about his return to playing that lovable Belgian detective, Hercule Poirot.
wodehouse.org
This is the best (and least frustrating) way to explore all of the P.G. Wodehouse sites and resources on the web. If you're a Wodehouse fan like I am, bookmark this page and start surfing.
"What's this?" you ask. It's a weblog by a Shirley Temple fan. Most of the sites listed have nothing to do with Mrs. Temple Black, I just love designing with pictures of her :P Archives aren't up right now because they're too out of date to be of any use. This'll be archived at the next redesign.
